Teaching Experience in detail in French Language Classes

-Initially, completed Level I programme in 2009 (involving 120 hours of learning) in French language and secured the Attestation de langue française authorized by the French Embassy. -Took a placement test conducted by Alliance Française and was confirmed at level B1-3.Consequent to further assessment by Alliance française de Singapore, advised of eligibility to pursue at B2-Superior. -Present level of competency B2~C1. `Certificat de fin de formation’ issued in 2019 by Frantastique, Paris. -Further, so far, I have completed 61 hours of studying (through Skype) with a French language teacher (highly qualified linguist from Sorbonne University, France). Recently attained level 24 (out of maximum of 25) in an online based French language learning module. -Worked as a full time French Teacher in a CBSE school, teaching students of various classes. -Regularly visiting Quebec province (in Canada) where French is the Official Language -Have been offering French tuitions (for about 8 years) to students of XI & XII Std (matriculation) based on C’est Génial 1 & 2- Méthod de français. -Have been offering French Tuitions for students of CBSE/ others based on Apprenons le français Vol 0,1,2,3 & 4 and Entre Jeunes Vol 1 & 2 and others. -Assisted interested persons (planning to go to France for higher studies/ business) to have basic understanding of French and to prepare for DELF at A1 level. - Presently working in Thanjavur as French language trainer and also training candidates for IELTS.

-Successfully passed all the three modules of the Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) (English language teaching related examination conducted by the Cambridge University through the British Council). This is similar to the CELTA examination. TKT typically involves -Module I: Language and background to language learning and teaching. -Module II: Lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching. -Module III: Managing the teaching and learning process. -After retirement, I was offering classes on English grammar, Spoken English and French. -Worked as English and French teacher in a CBSE school near Tiruppur for one year. -Completed a programme on IELTS offered by The University of Queensland through EDx. As against the stipulated Pass Percentage of 80%, secured 92%. -Successfully completed IELTS Masterclass program conducted by the British Council. -Assisted my daughter in applying to universities in Canada, preparing for GRE/ TOEFL, vetting of SOP etc. which enabled her admission to McGill University in Montreal, Canada. -Presently working as IELTS/TOEFL and French trainer in a centre in Thanjavur.
