I am here to offer tutoring in two languages that I am confident about; French and English.
**Why learn French with me?
I have completed my Bachelor's degree in French from Ramnarain Ruia college (Mumbai university). I have also gotten my DELF B2 certification (lessons taken at Alliance Française de Bombay). Apart from that, I have spent 3.5 years in France where I pursued my Master's degree (majority of the classes were in French) and even undertook an internship at a French company.
During my student years, while I was in India, I was fortunate to gain breif experience of tutoring junior college students.
I started learning French in 2009 and my love for the language has never stopped growing!
**Why learn English with me?
I have a 120 hour certificate in TEFL (Teaching English as Foreign Language) with TEYL (Teaching English to Young Learners) with A1 pass standard.
In addition, I have a 2 year long experience of teaching English as foreign language (EFL) to university students in China. As a foreign language teacher in China, my duties included lesson planning, teaching those planned lessons, giving assignments, feedbacks to students and working based on the feedbacks received on my teaching. Moreover, I was responsible for organising exams and grading the students. Previously, as a part of my student job, I have also taught English as foreign language to university students in France and kindergarten students in Japan.
**What is my method of teaching?
Since I offer one on one classes, I make sure to understand your goals and prepare lessons accordingly. I try to include videos, audios, articles, pictures in my lesson plans so that your interest in the language is alive. Furthermore, as I believe that revision is important in order to make sure that the student is on the same page as I am, I dedicate a few minutes of each class to a recap session.
**What am I as a person?
I am a language and culture enthusiast. I absolutely love to travel but more than that, I enjoy living in new places and immerse in the culture there. I like to call myself a positive human being who gets along with most of the people.
