Tableau server is a place(website/url) to publish the dashboards and share with all users. Other Admin activities like access,refresh schedules etc.can also be handled on server

Tableay Server : It's a place where we publish the dashboards and share it with clients or end users
Consider this like a web page with an url. where we publish the dashboard on to server and this can be accessed by an URL, also server is a place where most of the user level and report level administration and security is handled
