I have had a rich and rewarding seventeen-year journey in music. With a Master's degree, an MPhil, and a PhD in music, I have honed my skills to share my passion for traditional music with the world, especially with young minds. Teaching has always been my calling, and I find immense joy in influencing and inspiring children with the beauty of traditional music. Memorising musical pieces has incredible benefits. I work with Go For Guru, where I serve as an online music teacher. Through my online classes, I strive to instil a love for Carnatic Vocal music in my students.
My classes typically last an hour and span a year, offering a comprehensive learning experience. I blend theory and practical aspects to ensure a well-rounded education for my students. To make learning engaging and interactive, I utilise PPT presentations and conduct live classes encouraging participation and interaction.
I have attended various prestigious colleges throughout my academic journey, contributing significantly to my musical growth. Additionally, I have had the privilege of performing alongside two remarkable artists, Hanna Tuliki, 2016 and Camila Norment, in a concert where I showcased my talent in Carnatic music.
Teaching Carnatic Vocal online has allowed me to share my knowledge with students worldwide. It's a fulfilling experience to witness my students' progress and the power of music in transforming lives. I am committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians and helping them discover the wonders of traditional music. To aid their learning process, I provide detailed notes and resources that serve as a valuable reference along their musical journey.
