In my view, chances of getting UKG admissions are more this year in St. Josephs (provided the kid fits in school criteria) as there was no LKG batch last year (in current year).

So those who have applied for UKG admissions for 2011-12, in my view, are for a great chance.

Hi Shivamala - I am not sure about St. Joseph, but generally UKG admissions are based on availability of seats. This is because the LKG batch moves over to UKG. Generally more sections open up in 1st standard, so it is easier to get into 1st standard than UKG. That said, if you are really interested in St. Joseph, you should try this year as well. Hi Shivamala - I am not sure about St. Joseph, but generally UKG admissions are based on availability of seats. This is because the LKG batch moves over to UKG. Generally more sections open up in 1st standard, so it is easier to get into 1st standard than UKG. That said, if you are really interested in St. Joseph, you should try this year as well. That way you get a chance this year, and in case it doesn't happen, you can try again next year. I hope it helps. «less
