I am proficient in english language with over 7 years of experience in teaching English as a language to different age groups. My medium of education has been english and I have mostly taught cbse and state board curriculum. I use an interactive approach that involve the students actively and make learning interesting. Besides, I offer guidance and training in public speaking. I have undergone training as public speaking expert. Therefore building confident speakers would be an added feature in my classes. In addition to it, improvisation from a basic english to advanced english which includes learning new vocabulary is also included in my teaching experience. Pronunciation forms an important part of any speech. I follow a clear Indian-British pronunciation for the students that is usually practiced in India. I can help students with not only speaking confidently but also writing clearly and creatively. Structuring the thoughts and putting them on paper, followed by an impressive articulation is an indispensable skill required in todays world. And my classes can be of great benefit for those looking to have a hold over this skill which is required in academic writing as well. Furthermore, I also have an experience in writing speeches covering events such as farewells, workshops, debates and discussions. I have been teaching to students of age groups ranging from pre schoolers at home, to masters students in university. With an expertise over humanities subjects including sociology and political science, I have an experience of over 2 years in teaching class 12 students. I have mostly taught political science and can cover all types of curricula ranging from state boards to international baccalaureate. My teaching experience includes interactive classes using power point presentations, discussion based lectures, workshops, assignments and field work. My teaching methods instill curiosity, critical thinking besides good writing and speaking skills. I have an eye over the vast literature of political science and geopolitics that help students to relate to the contemporary world politics. I also have an experience in preparing students for civil service exams. Therefore my teaching methods not only cater to board exams or academics but are also helpful for civil service exams and other competitive exams that require general studies as one of the papers.
