Dear Manoj, I suggest to join coaching for GATE as you are aiming at IISC. Since you are in 2nd year, suggest you to start from next year so that most of the portions would have been taught. When you go to coaching you will get a mentor and also like minded students which will help in your preparations.... ...more

What are the important books for GATE in ece?

GATE exams will actually test knowledge of concept understanding. My suggestion is that first take up previous 25 years of GATE questions and start preparing subject by subject. Any standard book which you studied your Engineering sufficient. Most importantly you must be thorough with concepts.
