I am a Professional Sitar artist with over 30 years of experience including teaching individuals, groups and in schools. I have retired from All India Radio Kolkata and was also engaged with the External Services Division, Delhi. I was a member of the National Orchestra of Akashwani New Delhi.

I have obtained a double Masters degree from Bishwabharati University, Shantiniketan and Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.

I perform in concerts (only Solo) both in India and abroad, including my recent performance at IIT Kharagpur (Spring Festival), Dr. Prabha Atre Institute for Music, Pune & Sangeet Natak Academy New Delhi.

I have also performed in various musical festivals in the past such as
 Harballav music festival Jallandhar
 MaharanaKumbh festival Udaipur
 Sambalpur Music festival, Orissa
