Keyboard Musical Instrument
A keyboard is a musical instrument played by pressing a series of keys, push buttons, or parallel levers to sound different notes. In Western music, the keys match to the following notes in the chromatic scale, and they go from the bass at the left to the treble at the right.
Keyboard instruments usually consist of a set of black and white keys that produce music when pressed. As the player presses the keys the other end of the keys which is hidden is attached to the sound producing device goes up.
Keyboard has assumed great significance as it enables a performer to play many notes at once as well as in continuity. This versatility allows the modern pianist or organist to perform any work of Western music that involves chordal harmonies, independent contrapuntal parts, or single melody in transcription. Due to this reason, the keyboard instruments have influenced the composition of music for other media.

Watch Youtube Videos
This is the path many choose because it's free. There are tons of videos on Youtube showing you how to play individual songs and teaching you things like scales and note reading. This is way better than figuring out things on your own. But this also takes a lot of time since the lessons won't be structured.
Follow A Course
Regarding being efficient and making significant progress in less time, this is the best way to go about learning the keyboard. It's like having a piano teacher, but you get to go at your own pace, and it cost a lot less.
Hire a tutor

Practice
Regardless of which way you choose to learn to play the keyboard, you need to practice. Take the time to practice each day, even if it's just 10 minutes. Skill is built through repetition. The tutor will explain to you how to practice efficiently which is important because just playing random songs during your practice session will only get you so far.
