Hai and Namaste, I'm Veerendra Patil, as I'm inclined on the reading of literature and Culture and I tried to bring the insane of reading literature into my students as well in a couple of years back, I have been teaching for 5 years to the different group of learners, initially, I was taught English language and literature to both PU and High school students, Now I'm associating with Azim Premji Foundation as Teacher Educator wherein I'm been with teachers to make their English classroom a joyful for their students by capacitating teachers in a wholesale development of teaching practices and pedagogies. I have completed my master’s degree in English Literature from two Universities that is Kuvempu University and Maulana Azad National Urdu University on the same subject, when was a student at Kuvempu University I started cultivating the aesthetics skill I was started acting in plays, started publishing articles in National and International Conferences along I was also started to translating poems, and keep writing stories such as ‘ಖಾಲಿ ರೋಡಿನ ಕಥೆಗಳು’, ‘ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಂದ ಗಲಿವರ’ and ‘Why I Need to Become Hamlet’, are my stories that are yet be published. In addition to this I’ve been with reading of literature and participating in multiple activities in literature such as theatre, storytelling, regardless of listener’s age – in that series of Storytelling workshops I have narrated stories of both Kannada and English literature and my interest is largely on Gender Studies along with Shakespearian Studies. Recently I had a discussion with teachers and some of students on English Language and William Shakespeare – Contribution Towards Change in Language, that was largely based on my research and readings of Shakespeare. This is what a brief on myself, hopefully I’m waiting to have dialogue with you people to learn and explore.
