Overview

I am a trained kathak dancer belonging to the Lucknow gharana. I've been associated with Pandit Birju Maharaj kathak academy where I taught for 5 years. I have performed extensively all across the country in some of the most prestigious functions like Handiya kathak mahayagya (Allahabad), Aadhi Abadi award ceremony (New Delhi), to name a few. I also recently worked in a short film as a dancer, choreographer and actor. I love to experiment with my form and incorporate new contemporary elements that enables me to produce enhanced choreography. My class primarily focuses on the technical aspects of kathak, the creative aspects and the basics of choreography.=
