This course give practical hands on experience in r&;d. Each student is given a research topic and guided in doing research. The area of research work is protein purification and analysis. The student will generally purify a protein/enzyme/biomolecule from natural sources (non recombinant) and investigate the biological and physicochemical properties of the protein.

The student will learn purification techniques that may include (depending the protein) extraction, precipitation, dialysis, diafiltration, ultrafiltration, column chromatography with different matrices, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, staining of proteins in polyacrylamide gels. Immunochemical techniques, enzyme assays, spectrophotometry, estimation of biochemicals, proteins, sugars 

The working hours per day about 4 hrs. The work begins every day at 11 am and finishes at 4 pm. The time schedule can be modified according mutual convenience, but between 9 am - 5pm

At the end of the project work the student will write the project report which will be signed by autorized person from our company. The report can be submitted to the university, if it is required as part of the completion of his/her course at college/university. The course can be extended if requested by the student upto 6 months duration. Help in getting employed will be provided.
