What is the difference between btech regular and btech integrated?

A regular BTech is a 4 years course while the integrated couse complied MTech also and a combined degree will be given to you but it will have the duration more than that of BTech(5 years). What are the future prospects of doing a BTech in marine engineering from Indian Maritime University?

It's good but in recent years there is not so much scope for marine engineers in the country but it is going to increase in coming years as the Govt has allocated good amount of budget for defence and few of the defence ships are going to be built in india. Few of my friends completed marine engineering... ...more

It's good but in recent years there is not so much scope for marine engineers in the country but it is going to increase in coming years as the Govt has allocated good amount of budget for defence and few of the defence ships are going to be built in india.

Few of my friends completed marine engineering and they are well placed in shipbuilding industries.

so all n all it's a good field to pursue engineering in.

Which is a better course, an MSc or BTech?

Its all upto you.. but If you go for BTech, It's only good if you get the admission in some of the best colleges in the country like: IITs and NITs.
