I have 28 years experience in Port Sector (Chennai Port and JNPT, Mumbai) and 8 yrs teaching experience in Mumbai Maritime colleges. Recently relocated to Chennai from Mumbai. Looking for a suitable part-time teaching jobs in weekdays within Chennai Area. Interested to give coaching for Maths, Statistics, Business Studies and also Engineering Mathematics. I am pursuing PhD in Port and Shipping Management. In fact, I am eager to serve in Maritime Institutes for MBA in Port and Shipping Management, BBA in Port and Shipping Management, Diploma in Nautical Science and B.Sc Nautical Science and also B.Sc Mathematics courses.
I started my career in Chennai Port Trust in JUNE 1978 and switched over to JNPT, Mumbai in JAN 1989 and opted for VRS (at the age of 53) from JNPT on SEP 2006 and entered into teaching profession and so far I gained more than 8 years experience in teaching. Recently relocated to Chennai and looking for suitable teaching position.

I started to teach Nautical Mathematics in Maritime schools which cover most of the XI-XII syllabus, besides one important topic of Spherical trigonometry. I have more than 8 years experience in this syllabus by teaching to Diploma in Nautical Science and B.Sc Nautical Science course in Maritime college. My approach of teaching in Mathematics is to make the students to understand how to evaluate the mathematical formulae, instead of memories the same. Analytical thinking is a tool for mathematical concept. I have experience in teaching students from Diploma Nautical science course after +2 pass out to B.E students for Marine Engineering Course. I used to teach Mathematics with Pen and paper or with Chalk and Talk and make the students to write on their note books. Giving assignments, conducting periodical tests for each topic tools are also some of the tools of my coaching. Thanks
