I am writing to express my interest in teaching. As a student of Social Work at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, with internships in environmental sustainability and rural development, I am eager to contribute my skills, dedication, and passion for impactful change. Throughout my internships, I have gained valuable experience in diverse sectors. My internship at ICAR-CIFT Cochin allowed me to explore insights into sustainable fishing practices, supply chain optimization, and fish loss prevention strategies. During my time at the Govind Ballabh Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment, I deepened my understanding of environmental sustainability, studying ecological practices for the conservation of Himalayan ecosystems. Additionally, As part of my academic journey, I completed a dissertation on the challenges and controversies surrounding the SYL (Satluj-Yamuna Link) project, utilizing quantitative surveys to gather community-level data and qualitative methods to explore the political and environmental implications of the project. The research involved both numerical analysis and rich personal narratives, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the topic. Through these experiences, I have developed strong project management and leadership skills, as well as proficiency in critical thinking and problem-solving. I am particularly drawn to Education because of its reputation for Teacher, and I believe my background in rural development, environmental sustainability, and research makes me a perfect fit for this position.
