A well-qualified teacher who is supporting the work of a successful and well-established music. Teaching pupils the basic principles of music such as melody, beat and tempo. Whilst at the same time delivering high quality teaching, learning and curriculum development across the Key Stages.

Duties:

ß Developing teaching material for music classes.

ß Evaluating a students’ interest, aptitude and temperament to determine a suitable instrument for them.

ß Planning and preparing music classes for pupils.

ß Instructing school pupils in instrumental music.

ß Helping pupils prepare for examinations and tests

ß Involved in the ordering of musical instruments.

ß Providing individual or group instrumental lessons.

ß in charge of running the music schools.

ß Assisting students with extra-curricular activities.

ß Taking students on outings to musical events.

ß Keeping up to date about subject development.

ß Evaluating pupil performance and encouraging those who are lagging behind.

ß Teaching pupils how to correctly play the instrument.
