It's been more than three years into teaching chemistry in a senior secondary school. Also, I have been taking classes both offline (classroom teaching) and online( via zoom app and Google meet) as per the scenario due to covid. It has been quite a learning experience handling simultaneously both of them. Switching from conventional classroom teaching to the online platform wasn't easy but worth it.

I have been teaching chemistry to new NEET and JEE aspirants from last three years, so i feel as the student enters class 11, more than subject acquisition what is more important that student feels he has chose an apt field to decide career with. so more than subject learning, i believe, a child has to be made confident about the right learning by the right guide. all the problem solving abilities of a teacher vary from child to child. It is obvious for a teacher to under the level of mind and the grasping capacity of the child I feel learning should always be accompanied by the practising session, thats where the child gains confident. i am an avid believer of the fact that the student always learns by doing so my main focus in the classroom has always been about giving students their own wand so that they create their own magic. topic wise assessment and regular knowledge check along with boost up in case the child lags is very important. if i regularly assess my child, then it becomes easier for me as well to know the weak points and work immediately. a strong bond between the student and teacher is as important as subject knowledge
