IdentityI am a freelance storyteller, performing and teaching storytelling since past three years.
I take up storytelling sessions for schools, colleges, corporate, at public and private events and conduct training programs addressing issues through stories. I specialize in retelling and creatively presenting the folktales from India and around the world. I have been published by Dainik Bhaskar and Patrika, two leading dailies of the Madhya Pradesh region.
I have also presented my research on Applying Storytelling Techniques to Teaching at the UNESCO TECH 2018 conference. I have been engaged in theme-based storytelling sessions with schools, storytelling-oriented teacher training programs as well as storytelling workshops for corporate. I have been a storyteller at the the International Festival of Storytelling conducted in Bhubaneshwar, India during December,2018.
My past experience with the corporate sector across India during my auditing career gives me an edge in communication skills and problem solving-oriented approach. This rigorous experience combined with my passion for folktales and the Indian style of storytelling makes me a good storyteller. I believe in simplicity, cheerfulness, professionalism and firmly endorse originality in my work.
