Reflecting on my school days in Hazaribagh, I recall a rich tapestry of experiences that shaped my journey. I was particularly captivated by subjects like history, with its compelling narratives of justice and societal structures, and literature, which unveiled the immense power of language and persuasive rhetoric. From an early age, I was confident in my ability to argue my point—something my parents often found amusing! I thrived during classroom debates, relishing the opportunity to express my views, even when my arguments were still developing. Of course, my path wasn’t without its challenges. Some subjects didn’t pique my interest as much, and the pressure of exams was a constant presence. Nevertheless, I emerged with valuable lessons: the significance of discipline in my studies, the ability to break down complex topics into digestible parts—a skill that has been invaluable in my legal pursuits—and the resilience to tackle difficult concepts head-on. I also came to appreciate the impact of a great teacher, one who could clarify complex ideas and connect the dots, a role I aspire to fulfill for you now. Extracurricular activities were equally instrumental in my development. Being part of the debate club sharpened my research skills, enhanced my ability to think on my feet, and bolstered my confidence in presenting arguments—all essential tools for my future career in law. I vividly remember organizing a mock trial, a rudimentary yet exciting glimpse into the legal world that fueled my ambition even further.
