IdentityWhile I was doing my college, I have tutored many students who were in 10th to 12th grade in different subjects like mathematics and computer science. My teaching style is like I always teaching a subject or any concept with an analogy so that students can easily perceive the concepts and can hold them up till later. I feel passionate to teach students to make their career get flourish. As I'm good with numbers and computer knowledge, I can easily make students who are having poor mathematical skills and computing ability to go with flying colors. I can assure that a student comes under me will get to know everything about the subject with my prudential guidance and repetitive and comprehensive teaching methodology. As I am an instrumentation engineer, I can teach engineering subjects also. You can weigh my knowledge by looking at my percentage of marks in my engineering degree( 8.46 CGPA). On top of that, now I'm working as a software professional in an IT company, I'm having an insight about different technologies like JAVA, COOLGEN, SQL, MAINFRAME and .NET etc. So this is my story about the career that I had before and I'm having now.
Here I have mentioned my way of teaching,
Say for example, I'm going to teach a concept to a group of students. The first thing I ask them is whether they have any insight/idea on what am I going to teach. If they would not known about that, I would them some time to think upon it. (This would enhance their thinking ability). Later on, somehow at least anyone of the students would come up with any answers that may or may not be relevant to the concepts that I gonna teach. I would take that answers from them and I would a clue to make them think better. If I keep on doing so, they would start thinking and making relation with all the matters that they are thinking about with the concepts.( This would teach them how to make a relationship their thought and the concepts). Finally they get to know what the concepts they are gonna learn. So now they would be having a firm grip on the concepts. So they won't get boredom while I am teaching the concepts which they just analysed. Boredom comes when a student doesn't know what he's been listening to. (So, it would instill confidence in them and make them listen all along the entire tuition hours). Next, While I'm teaching the concept, I would throw out questions frequently to all students. It make sure that they won't forget the concepts in the exam and one good thing is that they won't sleep as they are being questioned frequently :).
As I'm working in an IT industry, I'm quite familiar with some language tools like (ECLIPSE, COOLGEN, ORACLE, DB2 and Microsoft Visual Studio). This would help me to teach languages(JAVA, C, C++ and SQL) easily to students who are looking for an improvements in these languages. I will assure that they would understand the concepts very well as I can do hands-on training in those languages.
