He is a kid still. It isn't easy to make him sit in one place for a longer time. Children of every young age are very energetic, and they keep on doing things that may not seem reasonable to us. But we should allow them to do something unless it is harming them. Try to be very friendly to him and engage him in some good things. Over time, he will indeed develop patience because life itself will teach him to be patient. I suggest you be as friendly as you could and give maximum time to him.
