Tuhin worked privately in lessons with Einar Steen Nøkleberg and Jeremy Siskind at MusiQuest 2013. Christopher Norton selected Tuhin to perform his composition Theme in A flat Major at the Norton Festival gala concert in January 2015. He has attended the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) conference in 2012 in New York and 2015 in Las Vegas. He pursues a keen interest in the fusion of western and Indian music. His interest in the study of acoustics won him a first prize from the Indian Physics Association Competition for a research project on string timbres. He has worked as a teaching assistant at the Academy of Music 2006 to 2016.
