IdentitySalsamania India Dance Company was founded in October 2014 by Awadhesh Pratap Singh Chauhan. The Parent company Salsamania US was founded by world salsa champions and acclaimed dance instructors John Narvaez and Liz Rojas. They are known for their hypnotic performances that are marked by high levels of grace, speed and technical difficulty. They are equally acknowledged for their ability to provide fresh, accessible and entertaining salsa dance instruction for the social dance environment. !
Salsamania is unique in many ways, but one distinction is that everyone is given a chance to learn if they have a passion for salsa and a positive attitude. The atmosphere at rehearsals is intense, yet positive and encourages learning. Salsamania Dance Company members are trained not just to per- form routines, but also to develop skills and techniques that they can carry onto the social dance floor. Awadhesh encourages all members to utilize the patterns and shines they teach while social dancing.
