Sinx is trignometric continues function and bounded also. It is continues on each x on R, so for + be R Continuity is always tested at each pt. At point left hand limit equal to right hand limit and it should be equal to limiting value.

Show that the function f: R* → R* defined byis one-one and onto, where R* is the set of all non-zero real numbers. Is the result true, if the domain R* is replaced by N with co-domain being same as R*?

Yes, it is one one onto function when define on R except at zero to R. But When domain is natural Number and codomain R then it is one one but not onto fiction.
