Paper Quilling history and other information:

As per the historical data available Quilling was used to decorate religious items and book covers. The paper strips were made from the edges of the books. Different shapes were created coiling/rolling these strips and design patters were created.

Quilling is so easy that it can be done by kids as well.

Basic shapes created using quilling are:

Now a days three dimensional quilling is also done. To protect Quilling stuff from wear and tear coat of varnish can be applied.
