I have been a business analyst/product owner for 20+ years. In the span of these years, I have worked on various financial applications, tools, and products. I have worked on projects delivering regulatory requirements. With a strong and sound grounding in analysis, I am adept in low level system analysis as well as preparation of specifications documents. I have worked and led teams on application development and maintenance projects, on testing projects, on agile projects, on third party tool development projects as well as managed engagements.
Additionally, my doctoral studies gave me an opportunity to study entrepreneurship and innovativeness. I thus have a healthy blend of experience in academics and industry. The industry experience has been in finance and software development. And the academic experience has been in teaching – mainly management students and training – mainly project team members on functionality. With a vast experience in projects, also comes a variety of experience in financial domains.
