I am a student who is pursuing for Visharad Pratham in Harmonium from Godse Vadyavadan Vidyalaya. I want to teach basic harmonium lessons for those who are interested.

“Gurukrupa Violin and Sangeet Shastra Vidyalaya, Pune”, was founded on the 17th of December 1989 by Mrs. Rashmi Soman. Mrs. Rashmi Soman holds a ‘Sangeet Alankar’ degree in classical music. She was trained under the guidance of late Pt. Madhukar Godse for a period of 11 years (1983-1994) and further under spiritual and musical guru Dr. Kisanmaharaj Sakhare for a Ph.D thesis named “Sangeetkala and Rasvichar”. Over a period of 23 years nearly 2000 students have been trained in our school. We have an impressive alumni of 11 violin ‘Alankar’ and 39 violin ‘Visharad’ students. We are the largest violin and sangeet shastra vidyalaya in the country. Our curriculum and material is being used all over India and in a growing number of countries abroad.

"Swar-Taal Sadhana" the Music Institute, was inaugurated on 16th December 1993 by Late Mrs. Paurnima Talwalkar, Classical Vocalist and Mr. Sharad Talwalkar, stalwart of Marathi Theater and Cinema. We are proud to have competent and experienced team of Music Teachers. Over two thousand students between ages five to seventy five have taken Musical Training in the Institute. At present, around two Hundred and fifty students from India and abroad are learning Music. Some students abroad are being taught Music through Internet also. Students appear for the examinations held by Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal, only after they are adequately prepared for the same. "Swar-Taal Sadhana" also conducts exams (Certificate Courses) for Light Music (Vocal), Synthesizer, Guitar, Mandolin, Dholki. Apart from technical aspects of Music, guidance is also given for the development of soft skills such as Presentation / Rendition and Accompaniment. Renowned Tabla and Dholki exponent Sanjay Karandikar (Sangeet Alankar) is Founder and Principal of Swar-Taal Sadhana. He takes continuous efforts to pass on the knowledge gained from his Gurus. His experience as a Tabla and Dholki artist in India and abroad is helpful to the students. After overwhelming response to Swar-Taal Sadhana, considering the growth in the operations, an associate concern, "Swar Sadhana" was established in 2008 by his wife, Mrs. Sukhada Karandikar. She looks after the administration of "Swar Sadhana" since inception. "Swar-Taal Sadhana" has focused on providing training in Percussions and Organizing Musical Programs whereas "Swar Sadhana" provides training in Vocal, Melody Instruments and also provides Sound Systems for various Music Concerts. We are proud to be blessed by stalwarts from various fields, who have visited the Institute from time to time. Ustad Anwar Qureshi made his mark as a Ghazal singer and has given more than 3000 shows. He has also composed music for many ghazals written by great Urdu shayars like Mirza Ghalib, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, Daag Dahelvi, Shakil Badayuni etc. These compositions are based on ragas like Kirwani, Bhairavi, Bhinnashadja, Darbari, Marwa, Chandranandan, Janasammohini, Bageshri, Rageshri etc. These ghazals stand apart from the commercial filmy ghazals. His efforts are to maintain a distinctive style of traditional Ghazal singing.
