Indian Classical Music today is one of the greatest gifts of India and a blessed few, much beyond their fame and fortune, have devoted their lives to bolster this claim far and wide.
While renowned instrumentalists have done it through their chosen instruments, like the Sitar and the Sarod, Siddharth Mishra has done it through that one God-gifted instrument: His Voice.
He belongs to Mewati Gharana and presently receiving rigorous training under famous vocalist Pandit Girish Wazalwar, a disciple of Sangeet-Martand Pandit Jasraj Ji. Earlier he had music training (Tabla) from Shri Rajiv Dixit.
Siddharth ranks very high amongst the younger generation of Indian vocalists, he is gifted with the sweet and mellow voice.
He lays greater emphasis on the profound virtues of tradition singing more than mere vocal acrobatics.
Holding a Bachelor & Master degree in Indian classical vocal, he has also received
Sangeet prabhakar in Vocal and Tabla both from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad and Visharad in Tabla from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai. Assistant Professor Nehru Gram bharati University Allahabad.
He has trained many students over the years in Guru Shishya Tradition.
Siddharth also qualified for UGC NET & All India Radio and Doordarshan Graded Artist in Khayal.
