Jalaj Srivastava

Jalaj Srivastava is an extremely talented young vocalist with a melodious voice. His command to sing genres like Classical, Semi-Classical, Light music, Ghazal as well as Sufi music makes him a versatile vocalist.
Singer Jalaj Srivastava comes from the family of musicians at Prayagraj, he is the son & disciple of Shri Pankaj and Smt. Anuradha Srivastava, a notable vocalist duo. His musical journey started as a child prodigy, he started professional vocal training under the able guidance of his Grandmother Smt. Prabha Singh ji, who herself was a student of Pt. Narayan Laxman Gune ji of Gwalior Gharana.
He learned intricacies of Classical music under the tutelage of Dr. Priyanka Mallick Pandey, an eminent vocalist and legendary artist Pt. Prem Kumar Mallick ji of Darbhanga Gharana.
He devoted himself to learn guitar, music production, light music and music composition from Shree Ratan Prasanna ji, son & disciple of Legendary Flutist Pt. Bhola Nath Prasanna ji.

* Received Scholarship from CCRT, Delhi in the field of Hindustani Classical Vocal.
* Sangeet Praveen GOLD Medalist- First Position on Merit at All India level in the year 2018.
* A Grade Artist of All India Radio in Light Music.

Performance on stage:
* Performed on many national stages through NCZCC & Govt. of India.
* As an Artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, his recordings have been telecasted on National television channels several times.
* Performed at Literature Festival '23 : Kahkashan Sahityotsav.
