I have completed my MA in Geography, and my passion has always been teaching. I have worked as a teacher in a school for the past five years. Teaching has always been my calling. It brings me immense joy to share my knowledge and inspire young minds.
Education is the key to unlocking a world of opportunities, and I am grateful to have the chance to positively impact my students' lives. I specialise in teaching Geography to students in grades eighth to twelfth, following both CBSE and ICSE curriculums. I conduct online classes, providing personalised one-on-one sessions that last about one and a half hours.
To ensure effective teaching, I carefully plan my lessons. I create detailed lesson plans, incorporating various teaching techniques and resources. One of my preferred tools is PowerPoint presentations, which allow me to present information visually and engagingly. These presentations help students understand complex concepts more efficiently, making learning interactive and enjoyable.
In addition to the presentations, I also provide comprehensive notes to my students. These notes serve as valuable study materials, aiding their revision and understanding of the subject matter. I believe in providing students with resources they can refer to outside of class, encouraging independent learning and a deeper understanding of the topics covered.
As an educator, my ultimate goal is to foster a love for Geography in my students. I strive to create a classroom environment conducive to learning, where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in discussions. By incorporating real-life examples and current events into my lessons, I aim to make the subject relevant and relatable, igniting curiosity and encouraging critical thinking among my students.
