Teaching Experience in detail in CSIR NET classes
I have the experience of taking a few classes on behalf of my teachers during my BSc. and MSc. courses. Apart from that, my experience of teaching is limited to explaining different topics to my fellow classmates and juniors on the spur of the moment. However, through whatever experience I've had, I know I love teaching and can stick to the person until he/she understands the topic completely. I like starting from the scratch to understand what my student already knows and what are his/her weaknesses to work better on them. Tuitions for CSIR NET are different in a way that apart from the various topics to be covered, we need to give tips on how to be able crack these exams in the best possible way. Since I have given a lot of national eligibility exams, I know a few mantras which have worked for me and a lot of my friends to pass these exams in the first attempt. My way also includes asking students questions which encourages him/her to refer to more books and come up with his/her own answers. As I mentioned, I have mentored and tutored my classmates from school, college and also during my PhD days. Along my experience as a small time teacher, I've understood that all the people are different with different capabilities of grasping things ah them is and being patient with them is the only way to succeed. I cannot really boast about my accomplishments, but I could say that my hold on the topics is good enough for me to freely discuss things with my seniors and teachers. I prefer using chalk and board as I believe graphic and written things are better understood, but I am comfortable using a power-point presentation also.
