Teaching English as a second language to students is invigorating as interactive lessons provide students with opportunities to learn a language along with enhancing knowledge and developing their personalities. My last experience was teaching IGCSE at a Dubai school, where students from different ethnic backgrounds gave opportunity to celebrate diversity in the classroom and use a wide range of perspectives in the lessons. The pandemic shifted the classes online but the teacher students bond remained strong and my students cooperated and learned to make the best use of their time and my efforts.
