Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School is a High School affiliated to the Maharashtra State Board of Education. It is situated in Sion, Mumbai. It started as a Primary School in 1939 and was upgraded to status of High School in 1958.

The "Our Lady Of Good Counsel High School" is a Catholic Minority School established by the Ronan Catholic Archdiocese of Mumbai and is administered by the Society of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Mumbai and is administered by the Society of Friars Minor, a Religious order for men, in the Roman Catholic Church. The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Mumbai.

Admission Details:

1 Pupils applying for admission are as a rule subjected to competitive entrance test. Local migration from nearby High School will not be permitted. .

2 A candidate who joins fresh from home or from a private school has to produce an official birth certificate (such as a municipal or baptism certificate) along with the child, in support of the date of birth entered in the admission form.

3 A candidate who has attended any recognized school cannot be admitted without a leaving certificate from the last school he has attended. If he comes from a school outside the state of Maharashtra the leaving certificate must be countersigned by the Education officer of the State in which the school is situated.

4 No boy or girl less that five years of age (by 1st June) is admitted to the first standard. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the succeeding standards.
