You will be taught according to your needs. You need to have a Sarod of your own offcoarse. You can be a beginner, intermediate or advanced student.
For beginner, you will learn how to correctly hold the sarod according to your body structure. The ways and angles of the jawa(pectrum). Basic bols and paltas. This include separate right hand and left hand practices.
For intermidiate, you will learn other Ragas and compositions of different gharanas of Sarod. Also how to bring out emotions of the Ragas. Fine tuning your right hand strokes and left hand meends and gamak and other fine works.
For advanced, you already know Sarod playing and some Ragas. So we will continue the sessions as per individual need. Fine tuning the instrument and how to process sound so that it appeals to the listener to the core. The problems in stage and many thing about live performances will be taught.
