Students from various stream like Art, Science, MBA, MCA, BSc, MSc, Engineering, Diploma (Polytchnic), HSC, or any other stream where they have to write report or prepare article or any kind of dpcument.

LaTeX, which is pronounced «Lah-tech» or «Lay-tech» (to rhyme with «blech» or «Bertolt Brecht»), is a document preparation system for high-quality typesetting. It is most often used for medium-to-large technical or scientific documents but it can be used for almost any form of publishing.

LaTeX is not a word processor! Instead, LaTeX encourages authors not to worry too much about the appearance of their documents but to concentrate on getting the right content.

LaTeX is best way for documentation compared to Micorsoft Word due to its core concept of What You See Is What You Mean. LaTeX gives very powerful control of document generation.

Some problems that came across the MS WORD are very big one index, references, list of tables & figures, bulleted list, updating document, etc., which can be solved using LaTeX.

Fo this course only Computer or Laptop is required.
