Course Overview
The goal is to empower the Art Teacher to become a leader in developing art programs for school level. This involves providing them with a strong foundation in both the theory and practice of art, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to teach art in a comprehensive way. The teacher should also be capable of devising and implementing various effective teaching methods, being open to experimenting with both established and innovative approaches for delivering art education to children. Additionally, they should have the ability to identify the unique needs of each student and create customized teaching and learning experiences accordingly. Furthermore, the teacher should excel in recognizing and nurturing the creative talents of their students.
Module 1: Understanding the Fundamentals of Visual Art
- Explore space, shape, volume, and proportions
- Master rendering techniques for light, shadow, color, and texture
- Understand motion, including time, speed, gravity, and inertia
- Develop narrative skills for creating story plots and characters' archetypes
- Gain expertise in perspective drawing, including One-Point, Two-Point, Three-Point, and Aerial perspective
- Learn the basics of color theory with the Color Wheel

- Study facial features in detail.

Module 5: Realistic Still Life Study

Module 11: Number and Alphabets Creative Drawing ideas
- Incorporate Alphabets or Letters, and Numbers into artistic compositions.
- Study animals, birds, nature, fruits, vegetables, foods, sea animals, vehicles, and daily use of man-made objects.
Module 12: Theory of Art Education and Child Art
- Gain theoretical knowledge of art education and its relevance to child art.
Module 13: Teaching Practice
- Create a teaching file with 20 lesson plans.
- Practical teacher training practice with Half emperor size teaching aids.
- Conduct 40-45 minute lessons for students from 1st to 8th standard.

- Art Expression in Fine Art.
- Advanced Teaching Methods for Drawing, Sculpture, and Pottery.
- Brief History of Indian Art.

- Project Work: Within any one choose art form (Drawing, Sculpture, Architecture, Folk Art, Indian Art) where you have to teach a group of students with the following points:
