This course is for:
- Any one of any age who wants to learn to play the piano
- Who want to understand whether the piano is something they can play
- Who want to take music as a hobby
- Who are considering music as a profession
- Who want to learn Classical (western), Jazz, pop, cine tunes.
What is required for the course:
- Note book
- Manuscript
- Two hours of class time per week
- At least 30-45 mins everday for practice.
Students will learn the fundamentals of piano technique, posture. A brief history of the instrument and the prominent contributors to its music will be presented.
Student will be taught scales, chords, music of their choice and necessary materials, learning how to play by ear, improvising, music theory etc.
In the course of two months students will understand whether they would like to take it further with regular classes. The course will be structured in a didactic manner meaning that the students will learn and have fun while they are at the process of doing so.Â
The course can be conducted at students homes or at the tutors home.Â
