This class is for complete beginners in photography. Students with little to no background in photography can take this class. In this course students will learn how to get started with photography, the terminology, different types of cameras and gear. Students will learn the basics of the camera to more advanced composition techniques.

2. Why is light important and how to use it to your advantage

3. Types of cameras and lenses

4. Other gear and accessories and where to use them

5. Composition techniques and how to apply them practically

6. How to use colour as a composition tool

7. What makes a great photograph great and why

8. How to study and analyse photos of professionals

9. How to choose a genre for yourself

10. How to find your unique style in photography

A camera is not required for the course but is recommended.
