Imagine building a house. You need different tools and materials – bricks, wood, nails, etc. Similarly, in language, we need different kinds of words to build sentences. These different kinds of words are known as parts of speech. Each word in a sentence serves a particular role, that is classified into different categories called parts of speech. The primary parts of speech we'll cover are- Nouns, Pronouns, Adjectives, Verbs, Adverb, Prepositions, Interjections.

Understanding these parts of speech will help you construct clear and grammatically correct sentences. Throughout this course, we will delve deeper into each part of speech, exploring their functions and how they work together to create meaningful communication.
