Dear students
I am introducing a session on the fundamentals and Basics of Organic chemistry starting with the IUPAC nomenclature and basics of the reaction mechanism. Organic chemistry covers over half of the syllabus in grade 12 and the basics are in grade 11. All the basics will be taught in 5 sessions.
Session 1 the basics on IUPAC nomenclature
Session 2- Electron displacement effects
Session 3- Reactive intermediates and reagents, SN1 and SN2 mechanism
Session4- Reaction mechanisms
Session 5 - practice questions on mechanism
Problems will be solved in each session respective to the topic concerned. The session covers Tricks on identifying the products of the reactions in which only the reagents are provided, tricks in identifying which mechanism to be chosen in a particular reaction and practice questions for each types of mechanisms will be given. This sessions helps you to solve organic chemistry in the easiest way. You will be given guidance on how to study organic without memorizing even a single concept.
