Calcutta Chess Academy has been conducting chess coaching classes for children (5 to 15 years) since 1992. There are separate classes for Beginners, Intermediate players & Advanced players in 18 groups. We also provide special training for logical thinking, calculation, concentration, visualization etc. which develops the mental faculties of the students. During the past 33 years, we have produced a good number of Champions in State, National & International levels. So long, our classes are being conducted at THE PARK INSTITUTION, 12 Mohanlal Street, Shyambazar, North Kolkata. Because of the glittering success of this Academy during the past 33 years and the growing demand for Online Chess Coaching, we have started Online Coaching in 2019.

Who should attend
Any children from 6 to 15 years of age with normal intelligence may be eligible to attend this training program. In case of children below 6 years, we shall take some tests before admission. Again, children of the age-range 13 to 15 years can be admitted only if they have already attained the Advanced level.
Pre-requisites
Only school students from 6 to 15 years are eligible for admission in the Chess Coaching Class.
What you need to bring
At the time of admission, 2 passport size photographs & photocopy of Birth Certificate should be submitted along with Admission Fee of Rs.2,500 & Coaching Fee of Rs.600 for the relevant month. Apart from that, a student should bring a notebook and a pen/pencil regularly.
