1)How does evaporation cause Cooling?

In an open vessel the liquid absorb energy from the surrounding to regain it's energy lost during evaporation.this absorption of energy from the surroundings make the surrounding cool.

Factors affecting evaporation 

1)an increase of surface area 

2) increase of temperature 

3)decrease in humidity 

4)increase in wind speed

Sublimation of camphor:

A change of state directly from solid to gas without changing into liquid state is called sublimation 

Deposition:

The direct change of gas to solid is called deposition 

Effect of change is pressure:

Applying pressure and reducing temperature can liquefy gases.
