This course will be enhancing the child's reading skill in Tamil language. The Child who lacks in listening, speaking, reading, writing and understanding Tamil can enrol in this course. The course will not have the convention methods of learning like Tamil vowels, consonants and then compound letters instead the course contains the different pattern and follows the alternative methodology in learning the Tamil language. There are 10 modules in this course. Each module will have the set of sounds. Generally the duration of the course is 6 months. The duration of per class is 1 hour.

Communiation language: Tamil. The classes will be done in bilingual (English and Tamil) when the child’s native language is different.

The course content as follows.

-Introducing the sounds of the letter and writing practice of the letter on the same day.

-Types of letters.

-Differentiate the Tamil vowels, consonants and compound letters.

-Writing: Usage of letters in a correct place and formation of letters scripts.

-Blending the words by using the sounds.

-Grammar rules for reading the language.

-Reading the short phrases and understanding the meaning of the sentences.
