Mapping is one of the most important topics of the UPSC exam and its relevancy is increasing with every year as we see many questions being asked from this area.
Mapping always seems like a chore to students because it is so vast, and extremely time consuming if you studying on your own and creating maps and notes. Hence, I have tried to prepare a course where everything is in one place.
Topics covered :
Physical Geography
National Parks/Tiger Reserves/Wildlife sanctuaries
Ramsar Sites
Lakes
Minerals
Location of industries etc
Will also cover Science and Technology aspects such as - sites of shale gas, clarythrates etc
Will also cover disaster mapping - zones of earthquakes etc
Please note :
Course will be relevant only to UPSC Exam trends.
Only India Mapping is covered.
Please keep a small separate notebook and print outs of India Outline maps and India Political Maps.
Consequently, please carry pens of different colours so that you can make detailed maps that are easy for revision.
