1)About the course:
Heat and Thermodynamics, is an important part of high school physics, irrespective of boards. Although it may seem to be a fairly done and usted topic, conceptually it is as broad as it is deep. Therefore in almost every occasion, student only learns how to do a particular type of problem, but not the concepts. Unfortunately, In both engineering and college physics, such concepts are of profound interest. Lack of concept, therefore, more often results on failure. The target of the course is to give students a profound knowledge base in this topics, and then a thoruogh and pedagogical problem-solving session.
2)What will be covered:
All state board and All-india competetitive exam syllabi. We will start of with comcepts of heat, build on heat transfers, and take a look in to thermodynamics, and end with a little glimpse of advancced topics, such as second law, entropy etc.
3)Syllabus and structure:
Will be uploaded soon, depending upon number of interested parties.
4)Prerequisite and Books:
Basic physics, 10 th grade mathematics. all other concepts will be built ground up.
Book choice are flexible. For problems, Verma,Halliday-Resnick,and Zemansky will be followed. IF not available to students, problems will be provided to them. For reading, materials will be markd and given.
