The A1 German Language course for Beginners is for anyone who wants to work in a German company or intends to move to Germany in future. This course will enable you to hold a basic conversation in German. For instance, you will be able to order at a restaurant, do your shopping, ask for directions and do Google search in German. 

This course is a good foundation if you want to pursue the next level, i.e. A2 course. On its own, it will not empower you much, but it is a necessary step if you intend to use the German language and are approaching it as an absolute beginner. 

The course prepares you to take the A1 Goethe Institut exam, for which you have to enrol separately (it is not a part of this course offering). Even if you study German at the Goethe Institut, you will still have to pay extra to enroll for this exam. It is not essential for you to take the A1 exam, though. You can directly take the A2 or B1 exam, depending on what level of German you are finally aiming for. 

All the course materials will be provided to you. You just need a PC, tablet or smartphone with Google Chrome and a Gmail id.
