Highlights of Workshop
Mindful mindset practice helps players in spontaneously finding their natural rhythm, perfecting the coordinated motor control (like eye-hand coordination, running, etc), and being consistent in their performance. Mindful mindset practice is Applied Mindfulness or task-oriented awareness that nurtures the player's self confidence, mindful learning, and wellbeing.
Peak performance is defined as “action-awareness merging” in Flow State science, the neuroscience of mindful learning. Mindful mindset is pioneering the practice of the same phenomenon “action-mindset merging”, for example a simple act of a batsman taking the batting stance confidently, watching early, playing late, focusing on the nostrils (Mindfulness technique) while playing, respecting once own natural rhythm, etc.
Sports performance vastly depends on the calibre of player's reflexes. Muscle memory and the player's natural rhythm are the two pillars of reflexes. Regular sports practice builds finer muscle memory. Mindful mindset practice finetunes the player's natural rhythm by working on the five vital temperaments; 1. Balanced approach 2.purposeful focus, 3.immersive experience, 4.intrinsic motivation, and 5.emotional intelligence.
