Welcome to Exploring Continents, Countries, and Landforms!
In this course, children aged 4-6 will embark on an exciting learning journey to explore the world around them. The course is designed to introduce basic geography concepts, including continents, countries, and the states and capitals of India. Here is how the classes will be structured:
There will be 6 weeks of classes in total.

Introduction to Continents and Countries:
We will start with the basics, using interactive maps and slides to explore continents and countries. Children will learn to identify countries in different continents through visual aids. -
Exploring India’s States and Capitals:
A special focus will be placed on understanding the states and capitals of India, helping children build a foundation in Indian geography. -
Land and Waterforms:
Through hands-on clay activities, children will create models of different land and waterforms, reinforcing the concepts they learn in class. -
Engaging Visuals:
Interactive materials, including slides for younger children and maps for older learners, will make the learning process engaging and fun. -
Real-World Exploration:
Children will look at real-world images to help them connect the concepts to actual geography.
By the end of the course, children will have a basic understanding of the world’s continents, countries, states of India, and key geographical features.
Materials Required:
- Physical world map
- Political maps of all continents (for children 5 years and above)
- 2 political maps of India
- Slides for younger children
- Clay for making models of land and waterforms
- Real images of continents, countries, and landforms
