Implementing various levels of strategies to determine fraud rates and curbing the same by analyzing various metrices such as FPR(False Positive Ratio) and fraud contributions.
• IFRS 9 (International Financial Reporting Standards – 9):
Involved in determining the credit deterioration cuts that would be required to classify customers into various stages as per the new IFRS(International Financial Reporting Standard) 9 norms to be implemented by banks abroad.
• Campus Training Scheduling and Feedback Tool
The scheduling process for assigning trainers to each training was earlier done manually and also lacked the flexibility of changing the trainer’s name at the last moment if at all such a situation arise. The feedback tool on the other hand helped provide insights into the quality of the trainings by running an automated analysis (part of the tool) upon the feedback received for each trainer.
• Atlas Tool:
Implemented a tool based in Excel VBA for streamlining the process of assigning billing bands to the employees for determining the billable to the client based on the attendance and leaves of the employees. The tool helped automate the process by tracking the leave status of the employees and also generated a consolidated report based on the data stored centrally in a database. Involved collaboration of database management techniques with VBA interface.
• Standardized Reporting :
Fully automated the reporting framework for reporting EAD and PD numbers using Excel and VBA. The VBA tool overlooked the data for 12 months prior to the month of exploration. It had reporting filters that would allow the user to explore the data from various perspectives by selecting the required values.
• Telecom Strategy: Worked in a team devising a strategy to capture fraud in the telecom industry and analysing behavioural patterns to reduce the operational costs.
