"I make sure to pay close attention to each child to figure out which students are exceeding and which ones may be falling behind. Frequent assessments after lessons help me test my students' knowledge and learn which techniques are working most effectively. I also keep differentiated instruction in mind when developing my lesson plans so that I can make sure that every student is learning key concepts. I like to present concepts in a way that caters to every type of learning style.
For example, I may give visual demonstrations, design a crafting project, show videos or use computer programs. When a student is falling behind, I usually assign group work and give them individual attention during that time."
